The evening of music, dancing, and good food that ignites the summer in Apsella
There's a very Marche way of kicking off the summer: setting tables in the square, turning on the lights, and starting to dance. This is exactly the spirit of BallApsella, the evening that inaugurates the summer season in Apsella, a hamlet in the Municipality of Montelabbate, in the heart of the province of Pesaro and Urbino, in the Marche region.
The setting for the event is the new Piazza XXV Aprile, recently redeveloped and returned to the community. After the works that redesigned the pedestrian areas with new paving, seating, and small green spaces, the square has once again become the beating heart of village life: BallApsella is the festival that fills it with music and people, celebrating the bond between the inhabitants and their meeting place.
The formula is simple and tested, like that of the best village festivals. It starts in the late afternoon with the food stand of the Pro Loco of Montelabbate, where you can dine in a familiar and convivial atmosphere; as evening falls, the square transforms into an open-air dance floor, with live music ranging from dance tunes to great Italian and international hits. It's an evening designed for everyone, from families to young people, from ballroom dancing enthusiasts to those who simply want to spend a pleasant evening together.
BallApsella is not an isolated event: it is the first piece of the summer calendar for the Municipality of Montelabbate, which in the following months will liven up Apsella, Osteria Nuova, and the capital with festivals, concerts, and initiatives. Among these, the historic Sagra delle Pesche (Peach Festival) in July stands out, one of the longest-running in the area. Participating in BallApsella therefore means entering the rhythm of the Montelabbate summer right from its first evening.
BallApsella debuts on Friday, June 12, 2026, as the opening evening of the Municipality of Montelabbate's summer calendar. The event is held in the renovated Piazza XXV Aprile in Apsella, which has returned to being the heart of community life after redevelopment. The square transforms into an open-air dance floor for an evening of music, dancing, and good food, in a family and convivial atmosphere.
BallApsella is held in Piazza XXV Aprile, in Apsella, a hamlet of Montelabbate (PU), Postal Code 61025.
By car: Apsella is located along the provincial road Montelabbatese, a few minutes from the Pesaro-Urbino highway exit (A14) and the Fano-Grosseto expressway (E78). It can be reached from Pesaro in about 15-20 minutes. Parking is available near the square.
The Pro Loco's food stand opens at 7:00 PM; live music starts at 9:15 PM.
Access to the evening and dancing is free. Dinner at the food stand is at your own expense according to the Pro Loco's menu.
As this is an outdoor event, it is advisable to check the weather forecast. For updated information, refer to the channels of the Municipality of Montelabbate and the Pro Loco.
