The La Spiga d'Oro Sikula Festival is a national singing competition held in Ramacca, in the heart of the Catania plain, Sicily. Born from the need to give a voice to local musical expressions and talent, the festival offers participants a prestigious stage to showcase their potential and gain visibility among industry professionals. It is a tangible showcase for those nurturing the dream of pursuing a career in the music industry.
The beating heart of the event is Piazza Sottotenente Di Fazio, which fills with audiences from all over Sicily during the festival evenings. The space transforms into an open-air stage where contestants' performances alternate with jury commentary and entertainment, creating a festive atmosphere that involves the entire community of the Municipality of Ramacca.
The festival follows a competitive structure: contestants perform before a jury composed of experts with proven experience in music, journalism, artistic production, and entertainment. The artistic and organizational direction is managed by the Pro Loco of Ramacca, which oversees every detail, from the setup to the selection of artists and the flow of the evenings.
The event takes place in close synergy with the Premio Don Luigi Sturzo, an event held in the same setting with which the festival shares the goal of promoting talent, culture, and ingenuity. This connection makes the days in Ramacca a rich appointment filled with music, awards, and networking opportunities.
Dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced by the organizers. The event traditionally takes place between the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, a period when Ramacca celebrates its cultural and musical identity.

It is a free event open to everyone, capable of combining a passion for singing with the rediscovery of Sicilian territory and traditions.
