A Festival that Unites Two Valleys
The Pass Pitchü - Festival of the Valleys was created to celebrate a symbolic moment in mountain life: the opening of the Little Saint Bernard Pass, the pass at over 2,000 metres that connects the Aosta Valley with French Tarentaise. For centuries, this pass has been a route for exchange, trade, and encounters between the two sides of the Alps, and the festival renews its spirit every year.
Artisans, Flavours, and Friendship Without Borders
The event brings together artisans from both valleys with stands, typical products, and mountain specialities: cheeses, bread, wines, and gastronomic excellences from the region. Music, entertainment, and "smiling faces" accompany a day designed to showcase "excellences, emotions, and friendship without borders".
Alternating Between Italy and France
The event takes place alternately between La Thuile and Séez (France), highlighting its cross-border nature. In 2026, the municipality of La Thuile, in the province of Aosta, will host the festival in its main town. An opportunity to experience the shared Alpine culture between the Aosta Valley and Savoy.
La Pass Pitchü — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of La Pass Pitchü - Festival of the Valleys takes place on June 21 in the main town of La Thuile, host of the rotation with Séez in France. Starting at 9:00 AM, the Aosta Valley village welcomes artisans and producers from both valleys with stands, scents, and typical products: cheeses, bread, wines, and Alpine specialities. The festival, organized by the Consorzio Operatori Turistici La Thuile, celebrates the opening of the Little Saint Bernard Pass with music, entertainment, and a spirit of "friendship without borders".

How to Get There
La Thuile can be reached by car from the A5 motorway (Morgex exit), then take the SS26 towards the Little Saint Bernard Pass. Nearest train station: Pré-Saint-Didier.
