About Notte delle Lune

La Notte delle Lune is the summer event in Pulsano, in the Salento area of Taranto, that weaves together fashion, entertainment, beauty, and charity. Conceived by Pamela Panariti, the festival brings the evocative setting of the Castello De Falconibus to life with fashion shows, dance, music, and the traditional crowning of the Miss of the evening. Proceeds support local social organizations, from children's projects to anti-violence centers, making every edition a generous community celebration.

La Notte delle Lune, the charity festival of Pulsano

In the heart of the Salento summer, Pulsano — a village overlooking the Ionian Sea in the Province of Taranto, Apulia — lights up for its most anticipated evening: La Notte delle Lune. Born from an idea by Pamela Panariti, the event has for years combined fashion, entertainment, beauty, and culture with a goal that remains the true thread of every edition: charity.

An evening of fashion, dance, and entertainment

The natural stage for the event is the square of the Castello De Falconibus, an ancient fortified residence that dominates the historic center of Pulsano and provides a backdrop from another era. Here, fashion shows, dance performances, musical moments, and entertainment interludes alternate in a program designed for audiences of all ages. There is also space dedicated to culture, with book presentations and local guests.

The highlight of the evening is the election of Miss La Notte delle Lune, who receives the sash of the edition amidst the applause of the crowd: a ritual that has become an identity-defining moment, seeing many young protagonists from the Taranto area take the stage over the years.

The charitable heart of the event

What distinguishes La Notte delle Lune from the many summer festivals is its charitable vocation. Each edition is supported by social organizations — including Mister Sorriso and Stella Maris — and supports local realities such as the anti-violence center active in Pulsano. Beauty and fashion thus become tools for fundraising and awareness, giving back to the community much more than a simple evening of entertainment.

Why attend

  • A free, open-air evening in the setting of the Castello De Falconibus.
  • Fashion, dance, music, and entertainment in a single program.
  • An event with a strong social commitment, supporting local associations.
  • The perfect opportunity to discover Pulsano and the Ionian coast of the Taranto Salento in the height of summer.

La Notte delle Lune is now a fixed appointment in the summer calendar of the Municipality of Pulsano, capable of filling the square and uniting entertainment and generosity under the starry Apulian sky.
