La Corte Mossi in Festa: The Summer of the Piacenza Hills

La Corte Mossi in Festa is the food, wine, and music event that, for three evenings, transforms the external courtyard of the historic Cantina Mossi 1558 into an open-air meeting point. The event takes place in Albareto, in the Municipality of Ziano Piacentino, in the province of Piacenza, in the heart of the Piacenza Hills in Emilia-Romagna. The space, a 500-square-meter courtyard partially covered and overlooking the vineyards, welcomes the public every evening from 7 PM to midnight.

A Celebration of Music, Comedy, and Flavors

The formula combines live shows, good music, and a rich gastronomic offering. Several food trucks offer dishes to pair with the winery's wines — still, sparkling, and typical Piacenza Hills wines like Ortrugo and Malvasia — as well as signature cocktails prepared for the occasion. It's an informal and convivial wine tourism experience, designed for families, friends, and wine enthusiasts.

The 2026 Program

The 2026 edition, scheduled from June 5th to 7th, featured a varied lineup:

• Friday, June 5th: Concert by the Vasco Tribute band, dedicated to the greatest hits of Vasco Rossi;
• Saturday, June 6th: Comedy show by Gianluca "Scintilla" Fubelli, actor and television personality;
• Sunday, June 7th: Concert by Piacenza singer-songwriter Matteo Bensi with his orchestra.

Cantina Mossi 1558 and the Territory

The festival is centered around one of the oldest winemaking realities in the area: Cantina Mossi 1558, active in Albareto for almost five centuries and now run by the Profumo family. The new courtyard, inaugurated in 2025, is dedicated to hospitality and events, offering a panoramic view of the hills cultivated with vineyards. The event thus enhances the typical products and the food and wine identity of the province of Piacenza, one of the reference areas for Emilia-Romagna's sparkling wines.

Admission is free. The courtyard opens every evening at 7 PM and the festival continues until midnight. For those wishing to combine the evening with a winery tour or a guided tasting, booking with the winery is recommended.
