L'Incantaborgo - Street Arts Festival

An open-air theater in the heart of the Valdichiana

For three days in mid-July, the historic center of Sinalunga, in the Valdichiana area of Siena, turns into a sprawling stage. L'Incantaborgo - Street Arts Festival fills the squares, alleys, and stairways of this Tuscan village with roving performances, music, and installations, immersing visitors in an atmosphere suspended between dream and fantasy. Organized by the Municipality of Sinalunga, the event has become one of the most anticipated summer highlights in the Sienese province.

Shows and performances

The program brings together world-class street artists who perform along a route winding through the entire village. Highlights announced for the 2026 edition include the aerial dance of Sulla luna, the stilt-walker parade of Globe: l'equilibrio del mondo, the balancing and juggling acts of BubbleStreetCirkus, the fire show of Flame Circus, the acrobatics of Encanto – Il circo dei sogni possibili, and the evocative PianoSky suspended piano concert.

More than just shows

Beyond the performances, L'Incantaborgo offers numerous activities that animate the village throughout the festival:

• Arts and crafts market with unique creations and live demonstrations
• Photography exhibitions dedicated to Sinalunga and the Valdichiana
• Body painting and visual installations
• Street food provided by local associations
• Kids' area with games and spaces dedicated to the little ones

Discovering the village

During the festival, free special openings of Sinalunga's main historic sites are scheduled, including the Teatro Ciro Pinsuti and the Stanze Etrusche di Larth. In the evening, by booking through the Municipal Tourist Office, it is also possible to visit the fascinating underground tunnels of the Fonti del Castagno with the Gruppo Archeologico Sinalunghese, a unique opportunity to discover the town's hidden heritage.

Promoted by the Municipality of Sinalunga with the support of the Regional Council of Tuscany and the patronage of the Tuscany Region, the Province of Siena, and Anci Toscana, L'Incantaborgo combines entertainment, culture, and local promotion. With free admission to all shows, it is an event designed for families, performing arts enthusiasts, and tourists who wish to experience the charm of a Sienese Valdichiana village in a whole new light.
