On July 11, 2026, Jazz on the Road, a historic festival now in its 23rd edition, arrives for the first time in Desenzano del Garda, in the province of Brescia. The event, spread over six days between Lake Garda, Franciacorta, and the city of Brescia, brings a day entirely dedicated to good music to the southern Garda area.

From the Street to the Castle

The Desenzano stop opens in the late afternoon: from 7:30 PM, the Rusty Brass Band kicks off a travelling concert that starts from the historic centre and concludes at the Castle of Desenzano. This is the typical formula of Jazz on the Road, which transforms streets into a stage and involves passers-by and the public in a festive atmosphere.

Sergio Cammariere at the Castle

The highlight is the evening concert: at 9:30 PM, in the evocative setting of the Castle, Sergio Cammariere performs. He is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters and pianists on the Italian scene, capable of blending jazz, singer-songwriter styles, and Mediterranean sounds. A high-profile event that enhances one of the city's symbolic locations.

A festival spread across the territory

Jazz on the Road 2026 runs from July 10 to 15 with twelve events across Lake Garda, Franciacorta, and Brescia, most of which are free admission. The Desenzano del Garda stop is part of this journey that intertwines music, landscape, and culture, confirming the festival's commitment to bringing jazz out of traditional venues.
