The Minerva Musicae Jazz Festival takes place in Manerba del Garda (Province of Brescia), on the Brescia Riviera of Lake Garda. It is an international-level jazz festival that has the unique feature of choosing the most evocative natural locations in the area as its stage, from the Rocca e Sasso Natural Reserve to the viewpoints overlooking the lake.

Under the artistic direction of Luca Beltrami, the festival builds its program around three inseparable themes: people, jazz, nature. Each concert thus becomes an experience that goes beyond listening, where music dialogues with the Garda landscape and with the audience in an intimate and secluded atmosphere.

The hallmark of Minerva Musicae is the absolute quality of its guests. World-renowned jazz and fusion protagonists have performed and continue to perform on its stages — from double bassist Christian McBride to guitarist Julian Lage, from Al Di Meola to Bill Frisell — alongside Italian excellences like Antonio Faraò and Dado Moroni. A lineup that few provincial festivals can boast.

Art and Image

To complete the experience, the photographic exhibition 'Jazz under the stars', curated by Luciano Rossetti, accompanies the concerts with iconic shots that capture the soul of jazz through lights, shadows, faces, and emotions. Manerba del Garda thus becomes, for two weeks in July, a jazz capital immersed in nature.
