Born from the experience of the historic Alexanderplatz jazz club, the festival transforms one of the capital's monumental corners into a grand open-air stage every year, offering dozens of free-entry evenings dedicated to jazz and world music. Located in the city of Rome, in the Lazio region, the festival has become a staple for both locals and tourists seeking a cultural experience under the stars.

2026 Edition: The new Baths of Caracalla venue

After years spent in the greenery of the Parco del Celio with a view of the Colosseum, the 2026 edition marks a major change: the festival moves to the Baths of Caracalla, one of the most spectacular archaeological complexes in the world. Amidst the imposing ruins of the ancient thermal baths, the festival offers a packed schedule from June 21 to August 16, 2026, with concerts almost every night and dance parties until late.

A program of jazz, blues, and world music

The artistic direction, entrusted to Alexanderplatz's Eugenio Rubei in synergy with Pride Croisette, has curated a calendar that spans diverse genres and styles. Alongside jazz concerts, there are blues nights, orchestras and big bands, Brazilian music, and new trends.

• Great dance orchestras like The Redcats, a leading swing orchestra in Italy;
• Brazilian music featuring Roda de Samba and projects dedicated to Brazil;
• an extensive blues section with Italian bands;
• masters of Italian jazz such as Rosario Giuliani and, for the Ferragosto concert, Javier Girotto & Aires Tango;
• international appointments with guests like Harry Allen and the Prague JJ Conservatory Jazz Orchestra.

Jazz&Image is not just about music: the festival offers weekend brunches with the participation of local music schools, aperitifs, and dinners with quality products at affordable prices, as well as late-night dance parties.
