Jazz among the mountains of the Riviera dei Fiori

At over nine hundred meters above sea level, the village of Bajardo (Province of Imperia) is one of the most spectacular balconies in the Ligurian hinterland of Ponente, offering views stretching from the Riviera dei Fiori to the sea. In this setting, for three evenings at the beginning of August, the Jazz Festival di Bajardo takes place, a musical event now in its third edition in 2026.

Three evenings of concerts

The festival offers three evening events with live jazz music, enlivening the alleys and squares of the village. The intimate size of the town and the summer atmosphere of the high-altitude evenings make the experience particularly evocative, far from the crowds of the coastal resorts and immersed in the tranquility of the Imperia hinterland.

A village that renews itself

The Jazz Festival is one of the elements of Bajardo's rich summer calendar, which also includes the historic Festa Ra Barca and traditional sagre (food festivals). The choice to bring jazz to the mountains testifies to the small municipality's desire to renew its cultural offerings, blending tradition and contemporary proposals in one of the most charming villages on the Riviera di Ponente.
