The musical season of La Corelli at the Pedrini Theatre in Brisighella
Itinerari Sonori is the musical season that the Orchestra La Corelli brings to the heart of Brisighella, one of Italy's most beautiful villages, nestled among the clay hills of the Vena del Gesso in the province of Ravenna, in Emilia-Romagna. The review's home is the Maria Pedrini Municipal Theatre, and specifically its foyer, transformed into an intimate listening space where the distance between performers and audience disappears.
The season's distinctive feature is close-up listening: the audience sits around the musicians, fostering direct dialogue that restores all its emotional power to chamber and symphonic music. Born as a multi-year project, the review is produced by La Corelli with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality and the Pro Loco of Brisighella, in collaboration with AIAM and Tuke SAS.
The 2026 chapter is titled "Il Viaggio" (The Journey) and presents musical experience as a discovery: of geographies, inner worlds, and new forms of expression. The program is divided into four dimensions โ Symphonic, Crossover, Musical Theatre, and Family/Educational โ alternating major repertoire pieces with proposals designed for children, such as events dedicated to families where children discover the orchestra "from the inside.".
The first part of the season concludes with the concert "Vibrazioni Notturne" (Night Vibrations), scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the foyer of the Pedrini Theatre. The program juxtaposes the formal perfection of classicism with the rhythmic power of contemporary percussion writing:
The featured artist is percussionist Filippo Gianfriddo, principal timpanist of the Orchestra Sinfonica del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, who takes on the dual role of marimba soloist and conductor, leading the Orchestra La Corelli.
Itinerari Sonori offers a precious opportunity to experience classical music in an unusual and welcoming setting, far from the formality of large concert halls. For visitors to Brisighella โ famous for its Via degli Asini, Rocca Manfrediana, and Torre dell'Orologio โ the season is also an invitation to discover this Romagna village throughout the different seasons of the year, combining slow tourism with quality listening.
The 2026 chapter of Itinerari Sonori, titled "Il Viaggio" (The Journey), structures the season across four dimensions: Symphonic, Crossover, Musical Theatre, and Family/Educational. The first part of the year includes five events, such as the Carnival of the Animals (February 15th), a concert featuring Lรฉo Delibes's Missa Brevis at the Pieve di San Giovanni in Ottavo (March 15th), and workshops designed for families, where children experience the orchestra up close. The grand finale "Vibrazioni Notturne" concludes the cycle on May 24th in the foyer of the Pedrini Theatre.
Grand Finale "Vibrazioni Notturne" (Night Vibrations) โ Sunday, May 24, 2026, 11:00 AM, Foyer of the Maria Pedrini Municipal Theatre.
Marimba soloist and conductor: Filippo Gianfriddo, with the Orchestra La Corelli.
The season also includes, in the preceding months, the Carnival of the Animals (February 15th), a concert with Lรฉo Delibes's Missa Brevis at the Pieve di San Giovanni in Ottavo (March 15th), and events dedicated to families.
