When sport meets music and solidarity

The Italian Singers National Team Training Camp is one of the most beloved events on the Emilia-Romagna coast: for two days, the Municipality of Gatteo, and in particular the seaside resort of Gatteo Mare, officially becomes "the home of the Singers National Team". At the Stadio Comunale in Via Rubicone Sinistra 87, the singers and entertainment personalities who make up the historic team gather to prepare for the season of their charity matches, training in front of the public.

A unique solidarity project

Officially founded in 1981, the Italian Singers National Team is much more than a football team: it is a solidarity project that, through sport and music, has raised significant funds for Italian volunteer organizations over forty years. Gian Luca Pecchini has coordinated the organization for decades. The bond with Gatteo Mare is renewed every spring, transforming a simple training session into a popular festival open to all.

Open training sessions

The two sessions take place in the afternoon and morning on the pitch of the municipal stadium. The public can watch the training sessions up close, meet the artists, and experience an informal and family atmosphere, far from the large sports arenas. The technical guidance is entrusted to coaches like Ubaldo Pantani and Moreno Conficconi, while the team is enriched with well-known faces from Italian music.

Free entry by donation for charity

Access to the stadium is by voluntary donation: there is no ticket fee, but a voluntary donation is collected. The proceeds are entirely donated to the Associazione Culturale Telemaco ODV, which has been active for over twenty-five years in supporting young people and families in difficulty, with a particular focus on people with disabilities.
