Three days of independent music, art, and culture at Parco Casatorre
Indigest Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Castel San Pietro Terme, a spa town in the Province of Bologna, in Emilia-Romagna. Born from the energy of the Uroboro APS association, the festival has transformed Parco Casatorre (Luca Grilli Playground area, along viale Terme) into an open-air stage dedicated to independent creativity over the years: music, visual arts, comics, and participatory culture.
The heart of the event is the live concerts by bands and projects from the Italian emerging scene. The musical offering is deliberately eclectic, ranging from rock, pop, electronic, drum'n'bass, punk, afrobeat, and indie, giving space to artists who rarely find exposure in commercial circuits. Alongside the stage, Indigest builds a program each year that goes far beyond the concert.
Indigest Festival is organized by the social promotion association Uroboro, with the patronage of the Municipality of Castel San Pietro Terme and the collaboration of the Pro Loco and numerous local associations. The event is part of the Estate Castellana (Castellana Summer) program, the municipality's summer event calendar, and has established itself as a reference point for independent culture in the Imola district.
One of Indigest's distinctive features is its completely free and open-to-all nature: admission is free for every evening, with a focus on accessible culture that makes the festival a meeting place for families, young people, and music lovers. The setting in the green Parco Casatorre, in a spa town a few kilometers from Bologna and Imola, completes the experience with a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
Indigest Festival 2026 returns to Parco Casatorre in Castel San Pietro Terme (Bologna) from Thursday, July 2 to Saturday, July 4, 2026, confirming itself as one of the flagship events of the Castellana Summer.
For this edition too, the festival will offer three free evenings of live independent music, alongside the activities that characterize its identity: talks and conferences, exhibitions and displays, workshops, the Indigest Market, and a selection of cocktails and street food curated by local businesses.
The complete program, with the artist lineup and the schedule for each evening, will be communicated by the Uroboro APS association in the weeks leading up to the event through the festival's official channels.
