Hummingfields Music Festival: Electronic beats in the Racconigi countryside

The Hummingfields Music Festival is one of the freshest electronic music events in the Piedmont region. It takes place in Racconigi, specifically in the Canapile district, located along the Strada Vecchia per Canapile in the Province of Cuneo. The vision is to take the grand electronic party out of city clubs and immerse it in the rural landscape of Piedmont, surrounded by the fields and greenery of the Cuneo plains.

A family-born project

The festival was founded in 2025 by brothers Fabio and Simone Gastaldo, known as Gasta, who are natives of the Canapile area. Their starting concept was simple yet ambitious: to transform their home turf into a stage for electronic music, capable of attracting DJs and producers from across Europe alongside emerging local talent.

Three stages and immersive installations

Hummingfields features three main stages covering various electronic genres: electronic groove, hardstyle, techno, and hard techno. However, the festival is more than just music; the experience is enriched by art installations and scenic designs that change every year according to a narrative theme, as well as green relaxation zones to catch your breath between sets.

Music, sustainability, and solidarity

From its very first edition, Hummingfields has showcased a soul that goes beyond the dance floor. The event's core values are environmental awareness and sustainability, inclusion, and solidarity. In its debut year, proceeds from merchandise sales were donated to the Savigliano-Saluzzo-Fossano Hospital Foundation for local healthcare projects, highlighting a strong bond with the local community.
