Hop Hop Market is a market fair dedicated to 'Made in Sicily' crafts, vintage items, and handmade goods that enlivens the center of Palermo, the capital of the Sicilian Region, several times a year. The event is conceived and organized by the Artigianando Association, a group active for over ten years in promoting artistic trades and local artisanal creations. Born in 2017 with the goal of maintaining a cyclical presence throughout the year in different parts of the city, the event has become a recognizable fixture for craft enthusiasts, collectors, and curious visitors alike.

The fair brings together dozens of exhibition spaces offering a rich assortment of creations from the best Sicilian artisans. Strolling among the stalls, you will encounter:

The various editions of the year

Hop Hop Market is a traveling event that changes its look and location depending on the season. The winter edition, which truly kicks off the Artigianando event season, and the Easter Edition are held on Via Generale Magliocco, just a few steps from the Politeama theater, right in the city center. During the summer, the fair stops in Mondello, along the pedestrian area of Viale Regina Elena, transforming into a month-long event with craft stalls, street food, and evening shows. The Artigianando calendar then continues with other appointments until the Christmas market at the end of the year.

Atmosphere and context

Each edition is designed as an experience that combines artisanal shopping, taste, and entertainment. During the summer stops in Mondello, in particular, weekends are enlivened by street performers, musicians, jugglers, and shows for children, in a festive atmosphere that involves both residents and tourists. In Palermo, the setting of the Politeama gives the fair a suggestive, accessible, and central urban backdrop.
