The most colorful spring weekend for families and children at Parco Laurentino in Rome
The Holi Color Festival – Kids Edition is the family-friendly version of the famous color festival, hosted at Parco Laurentino in Rome, located at Via di Trigoria 62 in the capital's Municipio IX, Lazio. For an entire weekend, this large park in the southern part of the city transforms into an experiential outdoor space where children can express themselves freely through play, creativity, and sharing.
The heart of the event is the colored powder toss, inspired by the ancient Indian tradition of Holi, the festival of colors. It is a collective moment set to music that involves children and parents in an immersive and engaging experience: clouds of rainbow pigments fill the air, turning the park into a giant living canvas for a memory full of joy and lightheartedness.
The program is designed to stimulate the social skills and imagination of the little ones. Highlights include:
Park entry is free for everyone. Access to the Family Park area is reserved for members: the seasonal pass costs only 5 euros for the entire 2026 season and is required for children up to 14 years old and one accompanying adult. A new feature this year is the Baby Club, a paid service by reservation designed to offer little ones playtime supervised by dedicated staff, while adults can enjoy an aperitif or dinner with friends.
There is also a food court offering stuffed pizza, street food, fries, grilled meats, and artisanal gelato, with a convenient QR code ordering system to reduce wait times. On-site parking is free.
Nestled in the greenery of the Trigoria district, Parco Laurentino offers a safe and welcoming space to spend a day outdoors away from city center traffic.
