Music, youth, and sustainability on the Nazario Sauro Dam
In Grado, the Island of the Sun in the Friulian lagoon, there's a festival that brings together two passions of the new generations: music and environmental awareness. It's Grado Green Live, an event held in the evocative setting of the Nazario Sauro Dam, just a stone's throw from the sea, where concerts intertwine with reflections on sustainability.
Promoted by The Groove Factory along with the Grado Turismo Consortium and the Municipality of Grado, the event is completely free and designed primarily for young people, with the aim of combining the pleasure of live music with a message of ecological responsibility.
The program alternates between different but complementary moments. On one hand, the concerts, featuring big names on the Italian scene and evenings dedicated to emerging talents, showcased through the Green Live Contest, a competition that brings young artists to the stage. On the other hand, discussions dedicated to eco-sustainable events, with industry professionals and organizations working to reduce the environmental impact of live shows.
The festival has also hosted original initiatives, such as generating energy through bicycles during concerts, concretely highlighting the link between music and sustainability.
With the Nazario Sauro Dam as a natural stage and the sea as a backdrop, Grado Green Live offers evenings of music and fun, emphasizing its free admission and openness to all. It's an event that showcases a Grado mindful of the future, capable of speaking to young people and transforming a concert into an occasion for awareness, without sacrificing the party atmosphere.
The 2026 edition of Grado Green Live is scheduled for August 19 and 20 on the Nazario Sauro Dam, confirming the formula that combines music and environmental awareness.
Among the most anticipated events is the free concert by Benji e Fede, alongside the contest for emerging artists and discussions dedicated to eco-sustainable events. The event, with free admission, is promoted by The Groove Factory along with the Grado Turismo Consortium and the Municipality of Grado.
The detailed program with timings will be published by the organization in the weeks prior.
