The Giro Lago di Chiusi is one of the most popular running events in the Sienese Valdichiana. Every September, it draws runners and walkers to complete a loop around the shores of Lake Chiusi, in the municipality of Chiusi, in the province of Siena, southern Tuscany. The event is organized by G.S. Filippide D.L.F. Chiusi, a historic local sports club, with the patronage of the Municipality of Chiusi and the support of numerous local associations.

The event is designed for all levels, from competitive athletes to casual outdoor enthusiasts. The program includes several formats:
- Competitive running race of approximately 18 km, on a mixed dirt and asphalt track circling the lake;
- Nordic Walking on the same loop around the lake;
- Recreational walk of approximately 16 km;
- Fun walk of about 8 km, suitable for families and beginners.
The start and finish lines are located at Cabina Lago, on the shores of Lake Chiusi, in a natural setting of reeds, water, and the gentle hills typical of this corner of Tuscany.

The Giro Lago di Chiusi is more than just a local race: it is part of the Avis Tosco-Umbro Circuit and the Tuscany Run Circuit, two calendars that bring together the main road running races in Tuscany and Umbria. This means that results here count toward the general rankings of these circuits, attracting FIDAL and RunCard athletes from both regions.

By car: take the Chiusi-Chianciano-Chianciano Terme exit on the A1 motorway; by train: Chiusi-Chianciano Terme station on the Rome-Florence line.
