Craft beers, street food, and live music in the historic center of Spoltore
Giri di Pinta - Craft Beers in the Village is the event that brings craft beer culture to the heart of the historic center of Spoltore, a town in the province of Pescara overlooking the hills of Abruzzo. Created to celebrate conviviality, good food, and the promotion of the local area, the festival transforms the village's alleys and squares into a meticulously planned tasting tour.
For three consecutive evenings, starting at 7:30 PM, the historic center of Spoltore comes alive with an itinerary that combines craft beer taps, street food, and entertainment. The heart of the event is Piazza D'Albenzio, from which the route winds through the village streets. Visitors can discover a selection of craft breweries, pair their pints with the best street food, and enjoy the atmosphere of the illuminated historic center.
Each evening is accompanied by a rich musical program, with three bands alternating on stage with different genres and sounds. The lineup brings together the Word Music Trio, The Spoltorers, and One More Time, creating moments of connection and socializing that enliven the village until late at night.
The event is promoted by the Pro Loco Spoltore Terra dei 5 Borghi APS, with the patronage of the Municipality of Spoltore and the collaboration of the Youth Council. Beyond its food and wine dimension, Giri di Pinta was born as a cultural and tourism promotion initiative, with the goal of strengthening the sense of community belonging and involving new generations in the life of the town.
To facilitate access to the tastings and reduce waiting times at the taps, the organization provides a token system that can also be purchased online in advance. The stage-by-stage format allows visitors to move from one brewery to another, sampling different types of craft beer accompanied by street food pairings offered at the village stands.
Nestled in the hilly landscape just a few kilometers from Pescara, Spoltore is known as the "Land of the Five Villages" and preserves an intimate and charming historic center, the ideal setting for an event that weaves together taste, music, and community life. Giri di Pinta thus fits into the Abruzzo summer calendar as an appointment dedicated to craft beer and the discovery of the territory.
