A night of taste on the shores of Palma di Montechiaro

Gattopardo Wine is one of the most anticipated food and wine events of the summer in the territory of Palma di Montechiaro, in the province of Agrigento, in the heart of Sicily. The event takes place in a picturesque location overlooking the sea, the Saudade Verão Club, at Marina di Palma (Contrada Capreria), and for one night, it transforms the Agrigento coast into a grand lounge dedicated to wine and local excellence.

Wine, tastings, and show cooking

The heart of the evening lies in the tasting stalls: over fifty stations featuring labels not only from Sicily but also from prestigious regions such as Franciacorta and Champagne. Accompanying the glasses, around twenty food stands offer typical dishes and products, while show cooking sessions provide live entertainment and flavors. Music, atmosphere, and local promotion

Gattopardo Wine is more than just wine: the evening is animated by live music and DJ sets that keep the crowd entertained until late at night in an elegant and convivial atmosphere. The organizers' stated goal is to promote the territory and create a virtuous network among producers, restaurateurs, B&Bs, and local operators, making the event a showcase for the food and wine excellence of the Agrigento region.

An event growing year by year

Founded just a few years ago, the event is organized by the Enofriends association, chaired by Mario Puzzo, and has grown with every edition to attract over a thousand guests, with an increasingly large audience coming from outside the province. Set in the city of the Gattopardo, home to the famous novel by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, the festival combines the literary charm of Palma di Montechiaro with the pleasure of fine Sicilian wine and dining.

When it takes place

Gattopardo Wine is traditionally held in August, in the height of the summer season, as a single major seaside event. The dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced by the organization.
