Gamics Carrara, the kingdom of pop culture in Tuscany
Every spring, CarraraFiere, the exhibition center in Marina di Carrara (Municipality of Carrara, Province of Massa-Carrara, Tuscany), opens its doors to Gamics Carrara, one of the most popular comic and pop culture festivals in Central Italy. Over 20,000 square meters of pavilions are filled with stands, stages, and gaming zones, just steps away from the Tyrrhenian Sea and the famous marble quarries of the Apuan Alps.
A trade fair for enthusiasts and collectors
The heart of the event is the massive trade fair, featuring more than 200 exhibitors: comics, manga, gadgets, action figures, collectible cards, cosplayer accessories, and everything related to pop culture. It is a key destination for collectors from the Apuan-Versilia area and beyond, attracting tens of thousands of visitors every year.
Gaming, retrogaming, and building blocks
One of the most beloved areas is dedicated to gaming: over 100 original arcade cabinets—from Pac-Man to Metal Slug, from Space Invaders to Donkey Kong—available in free-to-play mode, no tokens required. Alongside retrogaming, there are next-gen stations, virtual reality, driving simulators, and dance games, while entire rooms are reserved for board games managed by local associations. There is also a construction area, featuring dioramas and monumental brick installations curated by specialists like Mocbricks.
Cosplay, Artist Alley, and guests
The stage hosts cosplay contests, parades, and award ceremonies, while in the Artist Alley, over a hundred artists draw live and meet the public. The program is enriched by concerts featuring famous cartoon theme songs, meet-and-greets with renowned voice actors, and appearances by web celebrities, making Gamics a highly anticipated event throughout Tuscany and neighboring regions.

Designed for enthusiasts as well as families and children, Gamics Carrara combines fun, nostalgia, and innovation in a festive weekend. Gamics — edition 2026
The fifth edition of Gamics Carrara confirmed the event's success, filling the CarraraFiere pavilions in Marina di Carrara for two days of pop culture, games, and entertainment.
Among the guests, the stage hosted concerts featuring cartoon theme songs and meetings with voice actors and web personalities. As always, there was plenty of room for retrogaming, cosplay, and the Artist Alley, with over a hundred artists working live.
