A massive open-air dance party

For several nights, the village squares turn into an open-air dance floor: DJ sets, dance and electronic music, live vocals, entertainment, and light shows keep the crowd dancing until late at night. The FrankieGo formula blends the carefree spirit of a local village fair with the high-energy vibe of major club events, creating an atmosphere that is youth-oriented yet welcoming to all ages. Each edition features resident DJs alongside prominent national and international guests: over the years, famous names from the dance music scene and Italian radio have graced Bagnoregio.

Over a decade of history

With more than ten editions under its belt, FrankieGo has become a small institution of the Bagnoregio summer. Following a forced hiatus due to the pandemic, the festival returned with renewed energy, bringing international-caliber guests to the stage and strengthening its bond with the local community. The organization, handled entirely by volunteers from the Frankie GO Cultural Association, maintains the event's original spirit: a moment of connection, fun, and social gathering for the local youth.

Bagnoregio and Civita: Among the most beautiful villages

Attending the FrankieGo is also the perfect opportunity to discover Bagnoregio and its most famous district, Civita, which sits perched on a tuff spur and is accessible only on foot via a long pedestrian bridge. The town, nestled among the badlands of the Valle dei Calanchi, offers unique vistas and a historical and landscape heritage that attracts visitors from all over Italy and abroad every year. In the evening, after sunset over the "dying city," the party moves to the town squares to make room for the music.
