A month of culture, music, and nature along the Judrio river
Flux Judri was born to tell the story of a river and the territory it crosses: the Judrio, ancient border between Friuli and Slovenia, today the common thread of a distributed festival that weaves together music, art, literature, and nature throughout June. Organized by the Associazione Judrio, it reached its fourth edition in 2026, spread across the municipalities of Romans d'Isonzo, Corno di Rosazzo, Cormòns, and the hamlet of Visinale del Judrio.
The festival aims to be a tool for territorial awareness: after the flood events of 2025, the appointments took on an even stronger value, linking to the River Contract initiative and the protection of the waterway. Concerts, conferences, literary readings, and nature walks make up a program that invites viewers to look at the landscape with new eyes.
The program alternates suggestive locations: from the tasting rooms of Collio wineries to historic villas, up to the dawn concert on the banks of the Judrio. A slow and immersive experience, where music dialogues with the silence of the rows and the sound of water, under the artistic direction of Giulia Coceancig.
Promoted with the support of the involved municipalities, Flux Judri transforms a historic border into a place of meeting and discovery. For those who love culture outside the main circuits, it is the perfect opportunity to experience eastern Friuli and its hills from a new perspective.
The 4th edition of Flux Judri returns to enliven the Judrio river territory throughout June 2026. Organized by the Associazione Judrio (president Elena Gasparin, artistic direction Giulia Coceancig), the festival offers concerts, readings, conferences, and nature experiences focused on rediscovering the cultural and environmental heritage of the water border between Friuli and Slovenia.
