The parade of allegorical floats in the hamlet of Fiumana, Predappio
The Fiumana Carnival is the carnival celebration that colors the hamlet of Fiumana, in the territory of the Municipality of Predappio, in the Province of Forlì-Cesena, in the heart of Romagna. Organized by Pro Loco Fiumana with the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality of Predappio, the event represents the revival of a tradition dear to the local community, made possible by the efforts of many volunteers and the participation of village associations.
The heart of the festival is the parade of allegorical floats, built with passion by the village volunteers. The floats cross the streets of Fiumana, starting from the so-called "Fiumana vecchia" (old Fiumana) and then circling the town to reach Piazza Pertini, where the central moment of the event takes place. Each year, the floats present different themes, inspired by famous characters, cartoons, cinema, and fantasy, offering a cheerful and festive spectacle for all ages.
During and after the parade, a magic show takes place in Piazza Pertini, while the Parents' Committee organizes entertainment for children. Confetti, masks, music, and animation accompany the entire afternoon, in a festive atmosphere that involves the entire hamlet and visitors from surrounding areas.
The unmissable gastronomic offerings, a real strong point of village festivals in Romagna, are also present. The stands, managed by Pro Loco Fiumana along with the Circolo di Fiumana and the Parents' Committee, offer typical specialties and delicacies for everyone: fried piadina, French fries, polenta, as well as cotton candy and crêpes for the sweet-toothed.
The Fiumana Carnival is one of those authentic festivals that tell the identity of the small centers of the Romagna Apennines: a free, participatory, and family-friendly event, capable of uniting different generations and enhancing the territory of Predappio. A day of colors, smiles, and tradition that attracts residents and curious visitors to the hamlet of Fiumana every year.

Four allegorical floats paraded with the themes "Ancient Egypt" (the largest float, permanently in Piazza Pertini), "Ferrari", "Popeye", and "Grisù – Deflated Firefighters". A magic show took place in the square, while the Parents' Committee organized entertainment for the children.
