The Biella leg of the international youth padel circuit
The FIP Promises Sandigliano is one of the events in the international youth circuit of the International Padel Federation (FIP), a program designed to nurture and showcase the next generation of this rapidly expanding sport. The competition venue is the Santo Stefano Padel & Pickleball, located at Via Giuseppe Garibaldi 5 in Sandigliano, a small town in the Province of Biella, in the heart of Piedmont.
The FIP Promises circuit is reserved for young players: boys and girls taking their first steps in international competitive padel, who find here a high-level stage with official federation referees and an organizational structure meeting FIP standards. For the Piedmontese padel scene, this is an important milestone: the event is part of the Federation's official calendar and confirms the growth of youth padel in the region, following stages organized in other centers such as Grugliasco and Leinรฌ.
The tournament features separate draws by age group, with both boys' and girls' events:
The main draws accommodate up to 32 pairs, with the possibility of entry through qualifiers or wild cards, in accordance with the FIP Promises circuit regulations.
The Santo Stefano Padel & Pickleball is one of the most active hubs for padel in Piedmont: in recent years, it has consistently hosted FIP circuit tournaments, becoming a reference point for the local youth and competitive movement. The facility provides indoor competition courts and warm-up courts, and features an attached accommodation facility, the Relais Santo Stefano, which facilitates travel for families and athletes coming from outside the region.
For fans, families, and curious spectators, the FIP Promises Sandigliano is an opportunity to discover youth padel live in a quiet and welcoming setting like Sandigliano, just a few kilometers from the city of Biella.
