The Fiera del Libro di Cairo Montenotte is the literary review of Cairo Montenotte, a town in the Val Bormida in the province of Savona. Although it is a young event, it has quickly established itself, bringing authors, publishers, and protagonists of Italian culture to a region of the Ligurian hinterland often far from the major circuits.

Meetings, exhibitions, and workshops

The programme unfolds in the historic centre of the city, with meetings with authors, book presentations, exhibitions, and various activities. Curated by Francesca Fabbri Fellini, the fair proposes a theme each year that serves as a common thread for the events, accompanied by exhibitions set up in the most evocative locations of the village.

A territorial project

Organised by the Municipality of Cairo Montenotte with the Fondazione De Mari, the event is the result of a collaboration aimed at making culture a driver of development for the Val Bormida. The national authors invited and the exhibitions set up in the historic centre testify to the ambition of a fair that grows with each edition.
