About Fiera dei SS. Pietro e Paolo

In honor of the patron saints Peter and Paul, Sermide celebrates its most important fair: ten days of food stands, a funfair, stalls, and music that liven up the historic center of the town in the Basso Mantovano. Organized by the Pro Loco with the patronage of the Municipalities of Sermide and Felonica, it is the summer event that brings the community together around the patronal tradition.

The patronal fair of Sermide

The Fiera dei SS. Pietro e Paolo is the historic patronal fair of Sermide, a fraction of the municipality of Sermide e Felonica, in the province of Mantova. Dedicated to the patron saints Peter and Paul, whose feast day falls on June 29th, it is organized by the Pro Loco of Sermide with the patronage of the Municipality, and represents the most anticipated event of the local summer.

Gastronomy, funfair, and stalls

For several days, the historic center of Sermide transforms into a large festive space: the food stands offer the flavors of the Mantuan tradition, while the funfair, stalls, and musical performances liven up the squares and streets of the town. A program designed for all ages, which mixes devotion, fun, and conviviality.

A tradition of the Basso Mantovano

The fair of Saints Peter and Paul is deeply rooted in the identity of Sermide and the entire Basso Mantovano, a borderland between Lombardy, Veneto, and Emilia. More than just a festival, it represents a moment of gathering for the community and for visitors from neighboring towns, attracted by the atmosphere of a patronal fair that keeps the local traditions alive.
