The village festival

The Fiera di Magnacavallo is the big village festival of this municipality in the Oltrepò Mantovano, in the Province of Mantua. Every June, for four days, Piazza Marconi and the town's streets come alive with a funfair, food stalls, food trucks, live music, and shows, in an event that blends tradition and fun.

Music, food, and dialect tradition

The programme alternates different moments: musical evenings with concerts and tribute bands, dialect comedy at the Multipurpose Centre, performances by the inter-municipal philharmonic band, and creative workshops for the little ones. Food stalls and food trucks accompany the evenings, while the funfair remains active for the entire duration of the fair, giving children their own space for celebration.

A festival for everyone

The Fiera di Magnacavallo is a deeply popular and family-friendly festival. From pizza dinners to lottery draws, from pop-rock concerts to tributes to the greats of Italian music, every evening offers something for all ages. In case of bad weather, events are moved to the multipurpose hall, ensuring the programme continues.

Magnacavallo is located in the plain of the Oltrepò Mantovano, a land of water, agriculture, and peasant traditions.
