Five days of celebration, flavours, and music in the heart of Bassa Veronese
In July, Cerea, an important centre in Bassa Veronese in the province of Verona, becomes the stage for its village festival: five days of music, food and wine stalls, entertainment, and tradition that attract visitors from all over the Veneto region. The event, promoted by Pro Loco Cerea along with local associations, combines popular festivities with sporting initiatives.
Among the most popular events is the StraCerea, a non-competitive fun run organized by the "I Canguri" group under the FIASP umbrella, with routes of varying lengths that take participants through the town and surrounding countryside. It's an occasion that brings together athletes, families, and walkers for a morning of outdoor celebration.
The most convivial moment is the Cena sotto le Stelle, prepared by the Alpini and set up in the garden of the Baita (Alpine hut): an evening of Veronese cuisine flavours, music, and companionship that has become a symbol of the festival. The food stalls, the funfair, and the shows complete a programme designed for all ages, celebrating tradition and the community of Cerea.
Pro Loco Cerea confirms the Sagra di Cerea from July 5 to 9, 2026, five evenings of celebration in the town centre with food stalls, musical entertainment, and a funfair.
The detailed evening programme will be released by Pro Loco Cerea in the weeks leading up to the event.
Cerea is located in Bassa Veronese, reachable by car from the A13 motorway (Villamarzana exit) or via the state road, and by train with the Cerea station on the Verona-Rovigo line.
Free access to the festival area; some events (like the Cena sotto le Stelle) require booking.
