In Governolo, a hamlet of the Municipality of Roncoferraro in the province of Mantua, the end of August has coincided for generations with an anticipated event: the Fiera Centenaria di Sant'Agostino. The name itself tells of its longevity: it is a fair with a centuries-old history, linked to the feast day of Saint Augustine, which falls on August 28th.
