Magnàr par Stràda is the street food festival that enlivens the hamlet of Carbonara di Po, in the Municipality of Borgocarbonara, in the province of Mantua. The event is conceived and managed by the youth association Amiki, founded to enhance the local area and create opportunities for meeting in the village.
Street food in Piazza 1° Maggio
The heart of the festival is Piazza 1° Maggio, which every evening from 6:00 PM fills with food stands from local businesses and those nearby, food trucks, cold beer, and street food specialties. Alongside the food, there is the AmikiLand area, active all day with stands, craft markets, free bouncy castles, and games.
Music and fun
The evenings are accompanied by live music with bands and DJ sets. Over the years, the program has also included volleyball tournaments, treasure hunts, and activities like "firefighter for a day," designed to engage all ages. A young and family-friendly event together, bringing life to the squares of the Mantuan Oltrepò between August and September.
