The Fiera di Schivenoglia
The Fiera di Schivenoglia is the traditional festival of the Municipality of Schivenoglia, in the province of Mantova, in the Oltrepò Mantovano area. It is one of the most cherished events of the year for the village and takes place between the end of summer and the beginning of autumn.
Food, music, and sport
The fair offers four evenings of good food accompanied by musical and sporting entertainment, with stalls and food stands animating the town centre. It is a moment of gathering that involves the entire community, organised by the Municipality of Schivenoglia with the collaboration of local associations — from the Friends of the parish to the Pro Loco, from the Arte e Cultura association to AVIS, up to the sports club.
A village that celebrates
The Fair is also linked to the figure of the patron saint San Francesco d'Assisi, celebrated on October 4th. Although Schivenoglia is a small centre, its fair is an example of the vitality of the communities in the Mantuan plain, capable of organising well-cared-for festivals thanks to volunteer work and village spirit.

For 2026 too, the Municipality of Schivenoglia (MN) and local associations are bringing back the traditional Fiera di Schivenoglia at the end of summer. The formula is confirmed: four evenings of good food with food stands, stalls, and musical and sporting entertainment.
