Culture and Memory in the Village
In Rocchetta Nervina, a village in the hinterland of the province of Imperia, Festivalle Resistente is the event that celebrates the memory of the Resistance around April 25th. Organized by local youth, the festival animates the town with an intense and varied program, capable of combining historical reflection with entertainment.
A Multidisciplinary Program
Three days of theatre, concerts, cinema, conferences, workshops, screen printing, info points, food, and themed walks. Among the events are historical walks with re-enactments of places of Nazi-fascist occupation and Resistance memory, and theatrical recitals with scenic readings by authors such as Calvino, Calamandrei, and La Corte, alongside the symbolic songs of the Resistance.
Commitment and Conviviality
Festivalle Resistente is above all a community project: born from a youth initiative, it intertwines civil commitment with the enhancement of the village and the Nervia Valley. An example of how culture can become an occasion for meeting and shared memory, in an authentic corner of the western Ligurian hinterland.

For 2026, Festivalle Resistente returns from April 24th to 26th in Rocchetta Nervina. The program intertwines theatre, concerts, cinema, conferences, workshops, screen printing, food, and themed walks. Among the events, on April 24th, the historical walk at the bocce court with re-enactments of places of occupation and Resistance memory, and the theatrical recital by the Ventimiglia Reading and Dramatic Circle with scenic readings from Calvino, Calamandrei, and La Corte, and songs of the Resistance.

Friday, April 24th
- 4:00 PM — Historical walk from the bocce court with re-enactments of places of Nazi-fascist occupation and Resistance memory
- 6:00 PM — Theatrical recital by the Ventimiglia Reading and Dramatic Circle: scenic readings from Calvino, Calamandrei, La Corte, and songs of the Resistance
April 25-26th
- Concerts, cinema, conferences, workshops, screen printing, and food
- Themed walks and historical in-depth moments

How to Get There
By car: from Ventimiglia, take the Nervia Valley road towards Dolceacqua and continue to Rocchetta Nervina. Parking is available near the center.
