A Day of Books and Wonder in Corciano
"With the Eyes of Wonder" is the book festival for children and young people promoted by the Gianni Rodari Municipal Library of Corciano, in the province of Perugia. For an entire day, the library spaces and the adjacent park are transformed into a large discovery area dedicated to the reading, imagination, and creativity of the little ones.
Readings, Workshops, and Performances
The program is very rich: animated readings, theatrical performances, book presentations, artistic and manipulative workshops, origami activities, and corners dedicated to "games of the past". There are also meetings with authors and illustrators and new publications, with the possibility of purchasing the books presented during the day.
A Festival for Families
Designed to involve children, young people, and parents, the festival offers outdoor stands and themed areas, including spaces dedicated to greenery and animals. The free formula and the welcoming atmosphere make it an eagerly awaited event for families in the Corciano area.
The Rodari Library Takes Center Stage

The 9th edition of the "With the Eyes of Wonder" festival takes place on May 23, 2026, in the spaces of the Gianni Rodari Municipal Library of Corciano and the adjacent park. The program includes animated readings, theatrical performances, book presentations, artistic and manipulative workshops, origami activities, a corner with "games of the past," and the "Paws in the Green" space. Meetings with authors and illustrators are scheduled, along with the opportunity to discover and purchase new publications. The day concludes with the comedic theatrical performance "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall" by the TeatroLeOnde company.
