Rights at the Center

The Festival of Rights is a widespread festival that every year enlivens Crema, Cremona, and the Casalasco territory with a packed calendar of cultural initiatives dedicated to the themes of rights, solidarity, and citizenship. Conferences, theatrical performances, screenings, exhibitions, and book presentations intertwine to stimulate reflection and debate on highly topical social issues.

A Network That Builds Community

In Crema, the festival is the result of the work of over twenty local organizations — associations, social cooperatives, volunteer groups, and the Municipality of Crema — coordinated by CSV Lombardia Sud as part of the "Comunità della Trama dei Diritti" (Community of the Fabric of Rights). It is this network that brings to life a comprehensive program, capable of involving schools, libraries, civic halls, and cultural spaces in the city of Crema.

A Different Theme Each Year

Each edition of the festival revolves around a common thread that runs through all the events, offering different perspectives — from cinema to literature, from theater to direct testimony — on a theme chosen as an urgency of the present. The result is a rich and accessible cultural journey, designed especially to engage with younger generations.

With its free and widespread format across multiple provinces (Cremona, Lodi, Mantua, Pavia), the Festival of Rights has become a reference point for those who believe in culture as a tool for civil engagement.
