A widespread festival in the heart of Ragusa

Festacrante - Experience the Center is the event that transforms the streets and squares of Ragusa Superiore, in the province of Ragusa, into an open-air stage. Promoted by the 'I Tre Ponti' Natural Shopping Center, chaired by Elio Guastella, and supported by the Municipality of Ragusa, the festival weaves together entertainment, culture, and social life with a clear goal: to revitalize the city center and rediscover its beauty and charm through events.

What to expect

The program spans several months, from spring to autumn, alternating between different artistic styles. Offerings range from live concerts—spanning funky-disco, polyphonic choirs, jazz, and folk music—to theatrical performances, literary readings accompanied by piano, and evening DJ sets designed for younger audiences. All events take place in the city's iconic landmarks:

• Via Roma, the pedestrian shopping axis that serves as the main stage;
• the evocative San Giovanni staircase, in front of the cathedral;
• Piazza San Giovanni and Piazza delle Poste, the heart of city life.

A project for the city

More than just a series of events, Festacrante is an urban animation project: the merchants of the 'I Tre Ponti' Natural Shopping Center, together with the municipal administration, aim to promote historic center businesses and restore life to the public spaces of Ragusa Superiore. The free nature of the shows makes the festival an event open to everyone, residents and visitors alike, and a perfect opportunity to discover the elegance of the upper part of the city, which complements the famous Baroque district of Ragusa Ibla.

Where it takes place

All events are concentrated in the historic center of Ragusa Superiore, in Sicily, which is easily accessible on foot. The widespread nature of the festival allows you to stroll from one square to another while enjoying the evening atmosphere of the city.
