The Festival of Saints Fermo and Rustico

In the municipality of Cesana Brianza (Province of Lecco, Lombardy), overlooking Lake Annone, the Festival of Saints Fermo and Rustico is the most cherished event of the summer. The two saints, soldier martyrs also venerated in Verona and Bergamo, are the patrons of the town and give their name to the parish church, built over four centuries ago and housing paintings depicting their stories.
