The pea, pride of Borso del Grappa
The Festa Alpina e Annuale Festa del Biso, also known as "Bisi in Festa" (Peas in Celebration), is held in Borso del Grappa, a foothill town at the foot of Monte Grappa in the province of Treviso. At the heart of the festival is the biso de Borso, the typical local pea: a spherical, green legume with a smooth skin, firm texture, and sweet taste, recognized by a quality mark from the Treviso Chamber of Commerce.
Alpini and peasant tradition
The event, organized by the Gruppo Alpini di Sant'Eulalia (ANA) in collaboration with the Sant'Eulalia Blood Donor Group, takes place at the sports field of the Sant'Eulalia hamlet, on Via Caio Vettonio. It combines the convivial and solidarity spirit of the Alpini with the promotion of typical products from the Grappa foothills, particularly the biso, celebrated at the peak of its harvest season.
Flavours of Grappa
The heart of the festival is the food stand, which offers traditional dishes with the biso as the star, accompanied by local typical products. An authentic sagra that tells the agricultural and alpine identity of Borso del Grappa, in the suggestive setting of the mountain massif.
Festa del Biso — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the twenty-fourth, of the Festa Alpina e Annuale Festa del Biso takes place in Borso del Grappa from May 29 to June 2, at the Sant'Eulalia sports field. Organized by the Gruppo Alpini di Sant'Eulalia with local Blood Donors, it celebrates the biso de Borso with a food stand and typical products of Grappa.

The 2026 festival runs from May 29 to June 2 at the Sant'Eulalia sports field (Via Caio Vettonio). The typical structure includes:

How to get there
Borso del Grappa can be reached by car from Bassano del Grappa and from Crespano/Pieve del Grappa, along the Grappa foothills road. The Sant'Eulalia hamlet is a short distance from the centre.
