Five days of music, art, and circus in the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines
The Fantàsia Festival is an annual summer event that brings a diverse community of electronic music, art, and contemporary culture enthusiasts to Badia Tedalda, a small town in the Province of Arezzo on the border between Tuscany, Romagna, and the Marche region. The setting is the Oasi Cocchiola, located near the Viamaggio Pass at an altitude of about 1,000 meters: a natural amphitheater of meadows and woods in the Upper Valmarecchia valley, where a self-managed temporary village comes to life for five days.
More than just a music festival, Fantàsia is an immersive experience that weaves together music, contemporary circus, wellness, and creativity, characterized by a strong community spirit and a deep connection with the surrounding nature. Free camping, included with the ticket, is an integral part of the experience, allowing attendees to live the event on-site among tents, bonfires, and new encounters.
The backbone of the festival is its stages, each with its own distinct musical identity:
Fantàsia extends well beyond the dancefloors. The Circo Krom offers contemporary circus shows and workshops, while the Oneness Space hosts holistic disciplines, wellness practices, and workshops. For families, there is a Kids Area equipped with games and a playground, and for those seeking crafts and vintage finds, there is a vintage market. The result is a program that alternates the nocturnal energy of the electronic stages with a slow, daytime rhythm of workshops, relaxation, and social connection.
The festival takes place at the Oasi Cocchiola in the territory of Badia Tedalda (AR), in an isolated and evocative mountain setting. The altitude and the surrounding nature provide a cool climate even in the height of summer, making them as much a part of the experience as the music itself. For those traveling from afar, it is a perfect opportunity to discover a lesser-known corner of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, far from the most beaten tourist paths of Tuscany.
The 2026 edition of the Fantàsia Festival returns to the Oasi Cocchiola in Badia Tedalda from June 18th to 22nd, for five days dedicated to music, art, and contemporary culture immersed in the nature of the Tuscan Apennines. The official program has been released and confirms the multi-stage setup — Oracle (psytrance), Kernelpanik (tekno), Sphynx (hard techno), and live spaces — accompanied by circus, holistic disciplines, a kids' area, and a vintage market.

The full program, with the detailed line-up for all stages and schedules, is available on the festival's official website.
The Oasi Cocchiola is located in the Cocchiola area, near the Viamaggio Pass, in the territory of Badia Tedalda (AR). By car, it can be reached via the SS258 Marecchiese road; the most convenient motorway exits are on the A14 towards Rimini-Sansepolcro or the E45 (Cesena-Sansepolcro). It is an isolated mountain location: it is recommended to plan your travel in advance.
Free camping is included and is part of the experience: you can pitch your tent in the designated areas of the park, starting from the day before the festival begins until two days after it closes.
Tickets and full-event passes can be purchased through the festival's official channels. For updated rates, presales, and information, visit the official website fantasiafestival.org or email [email protected].
Located at an altitude of about 1,000 meters, nights can be cool even in summer: bring layered clothing. It is useful to be equipped for camping (tent, sleeping bag, flashlight).
