Theatrical fairy tale shows for children and families by the Brusson lake, in Val d'Ayas
In Brusson, in the Val d'Ayas (province of Aosta), summer brings Fairy Tales in the Woods, a series of theatrical shows for children and families set in the natural surroundings of the Brusson lake. The shows, curated by the Palinodie company, re-adapt classic fairy tales in a Val d'Aosta style, weaving the magic of traditional stories with the mountain landscape and culture.
The program alternates titles loved by children: Robin Hood, the archer of the woods; Aladdin and his magic portal; Hansel and Gretel; as well as original productions like "Archeo-Alice in Wonderland", linked to the MAIA archaeological project, and "Méchantes - Bad Girls". Each show lasts about 45 minutes and starts at 4:30 PM, in a format designed for children's attention and enjoyment.
The shows are free admission and do not require booking: just bring a blanket or a rug to sit comfortably on the grass. In case of rain, the fairy tale takes place in the elementary school hall, also at 4:30 PM. Fairy Tales in the Woods is one of the most beloved summer offerings of the Municipality of Brusson, in the Aosta Valley, for those seeking a family-friendly cultural experience immersed in nature.
