Fabbrica Estate, Forlì's Youth Summer
Every summer, the Fabbrica delle Candele in Forlì, on viale Salinatore, transforms into an open-air arena where the creativity of young people becomes a show. Fabbrica Estate is the review promoted by the Department of Youth Policies of the Municipality of Forlì which, from May 29 to July 17, offers a very dense season of events aimed primarily at the 15-35 age group, but open to the entire city.
Now in its sixth edition in 2026, the event has established itself as one of the main cultural hubs of the Forlì summer: a multidisciplinary program that intertwines live music, theatre, comedy, dance, and moments of reflection, where training and entertainment, participation and artistic experimentation go hand in hand.
A Program Built with Young People
The strength of Fabbrica Estate lies in the direct involvement of associations, schools, theatre companies, and emerging bands from the area. Many evenings stem from projects and calls for proposals dedicated to young people, such as Fabbrica 2.0 or the Timeless School Contest, which annually pits dozens of musicians and singers from various institutions against each other.
- Concerts and live music, from the history of rock to choirs, from school contest finals to punk and metal nights;
- Theatre and musicals, with the "Teatro Arroccato nella Fabbrica" review and local companies;
- Stand-up comedy, with emerging comedians from the national scene;
- Cultural meetings and book presentations.
One Evening, One Atmosphere
Gates open at 8:30 PM and events start at 9:00 PM. In case of bad weather, shows move to the Fabbrica delle Candele Theatre Hall or are postponed. Admission is free until capacity is reached, a choice that confirms the popular and inclusive nature of the review.
Forlì and its Cultural Summer
The capital, along with Cesena, of the province of Forlì-Cesena, in the heart of Romagna, Forlì experiences one of its most defining events in Fabbrica Estate. The Fabbrica delle Candele, a former industrial plant repurposed as a youth center, has become over the years a place for meeting, growth, and shared creativity in the heart of Emilia-Romagna.
Fabbrica Estate — edition 2026
The sixth edition of Fabbrica Estate (May 29 – July 17, 2026) offers about thirty evenings at the summer arena of the Fabbrica delle Candele in Forlì, divided between theatre, music, comedy, and meetings. Promoted by the Department of Youth Policies of the Municipality of Forlì, the review confirms the winning formula that in 2025 had attracted over 3,500 spectators.
The Councilor for Youth Policies, Paola Casara, emphasized the quality of the program and the role of the Fabbrica delle Candele as a place for meeting and growth for the city's youth.
