The International Chocolate Festival of Perugia
Eurochocolate is the International Chocolate Festival that has enlivened the historic center of Perugia every autumn since 1994, a city that has made chocolate a symbol of its identity with Perugina. For ten days, the Umbrian capital transforms into a large, widespread celebration, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors.
The main squares and streets โ Piazza Italia, Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Vannucci, and via Mazzini โ host hundreds of exhibitors, from large companies to artisan chocolatiers. The program includes the Chocolate Experience with educational workshops, Choco Lab and Cooking Show stages with pastry chefs and special guests, chocolate sculptures, tastings, and itinerant shows like Choco Parade, Choco Buskers, and Choco Street Band.
Each edition revolves around an original theme and slogan, setting the tone for initiatives and interactive activities. Admission to the outdoor areas is free, while the ChocoCard is available for special events and paid experiences. A reference point for enthusiasts and families, Eurochocolate is now a symbolic autumn event in Perugia and Umbria.
The 2026 edition of Eurochocolate (the 32nd) is held in Perugia from November 13 to 22, 2026, with the slogan "Make Sweets", inviting the public to become active participants by creating sweets with chocolate, not just tasting and buying them. The edition marks the festival's move from the traditional October period to November.
The festival areas are spread throughout the historic center between Piazza Italia, Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Vannucci, and via Mazzini, featuring the Chocolate Experience and the Choco Lab and Cooking Show stages. The testimonial for the 2026 campaign is cake designer Anastasia Cherednychenko.
The detailed daily program with times and guests will be published on the official website eurochocolate.com.
