Estate Savese, the summer programme of Sava

Estate Savese is the festival through which the Municipality of Sava, in the province of Taranto, fills the summer months with a rich calendar of events designed for all ages. Shows, live music, vernacular theatre, culture, and entertainment take place in the town centre, with Piazza San Giovanni serving as the main stage. The event is organised by the Department of Productive Activities of the Municipality of Sava and aims to celebrate the community's identity and the joy of coming together.

Roots and Territory: Sava Tells Its Story

The central theme of the 2026 edition is "Roots and Territory: Sava Tells Its Story," a title that captures the spirit of the festival: to promote the culture, traditions, and gastronomic excellence of the Salento-Taranto area. The main events are free of charge and take place outdoors, in the heart of this municipality in the province of Taranto, Puglia.

The 2026 Programme

• 25 July 2026 — Sava Food Experience: in Piazza San Giovanni, food stalls featuring traditional specialities open from 8:00 PM; at 10:00 PM, "LUCIO C'è," the show dedicated to Lucio Dalla curated by Marcello Balestra, takes the stage with the special participation of Pierdavide Carone and Dajana.
• 30 August 2026 — Dik Dik in concert: at 9:00 PM, also in Piazza San Giovanni, the historic Italian band brings its timeless hits to the stage for an evening of music, memories, and shared joy.

Gastronomy and tradition

Alongside the music, Estate Savese highlights the flavours of the region: the Sava Food Experience offers tastings of local excellence and traditional dishes, in a journey that intertwines food, wine, and performance. It is an opportunity to discover the typical products of southern Puglia in a popular festival setting.
