The Finale Castles Become a Stage

Estate nei Castelli is the festival that in 2026 will unite the three fortresses of Finale Ligure, in the province of Savona - Castel Gavone, Forte San Giovanni, and Castelfranco - into a single, widespread cultural programme for the first time. The ancient defensive structures will become spaces for music, theatre, cinema, dance, and visual arts.

Three Fortresses, Three Souls

Castel Gavone hosts theatrical and archaeological experiences, with guided moonlight tours and costumed re-enactors, as well as wellness moments. Forte San Giovanni becomes a multifunctional space, featuring symphonic concerts of the Voxonus Festival, open-air cinema by CinemaForte, activities for families, and nature trails. Castelfranco focuses on contemporary art and wellness, with exhibitions, yoga and Pilates classes, and contemporary dance performances.

Heritage and Contemporary Culture

The festival's strength lies in the dialogue between historical heritage and the languages of contemporary culture. The project involves national museums, cultural associations, and local realities, blending heritage conservation with current artistic expression.
