Culture finds a home among the towers
At the beginning of July, the historic centre of Albenga (Province of Savona) comes alive with Albenga d'Autore, a cultural review that draws Italian literary, cultural, and entertainment figures to the city. For five days, the most evocative squares and locations in the medieval village become spaces for meeting, dialogue, and fun.
A widespread program for all ages
The schedule alternates book presentations and meetings with authors with workshops for children, theatrical performances, and musical moments. The widespread format allows visitors to experience the historic centre in a new way, moving from one event to another among the city's towers, squares, and historic palaces.
Albenga's cultural summer
Included in the rich summer calendar of the Municipality of Albenga, the review ideally opens the city's cultural event season, which will then continue with the Palio Storico, Concertando tra i Leoni, and the Albenga Jazz Festival. It is an opportunity to discover the cultured and lively dimension of one of the most beautiful villages on the Riviera di Ponente.

The Albenga d'Autore 2026 review enlivens the historic centre from July 3 to 7 with a widespread program of meetings, book presentations, children's workshops, theatre, and music. Five days dedicated to culture and entertainment, with guests from the Italian literary and artistic scene, inaugurating the summer season of Albenga's events.

By train: Albenga station on the Genoa–Ventimiglia line. By car: A10 motorway, Albenga exit, then historic centre.
Admission
Events are mostly free admission in the historic centre. Programme available at www.scoprialbenga.it and at the IAT tourist office in Piazza San Michele.
