Theatre that grows in the fields

There is a festival in Albenga (Province of Savona) that has chosen to bring contemporary art where you least expect it: among the greenhouses and sheds of the farms of the Ingauna plain. It is Terreni Creativi, a multidisciplinary festival conceived and organised by the company Kronoteatro, which every July transforms the agricultural landscape of Albenga into an unusual and fascinating stage.

A multidisciplinary review

The programme intertwines contemporary theatre, dance and live music, with a particular focus on research and experimentation. Spectators experience an immersive journey, moving between the different spaces of the farms, where the materiality of working the land dialogues with the immateriality of the stage. It is a formula that has made Terreni Creativi a benchmark for the national performing arts scene.
