Viaggio nel Medioevo is the historical reenactment that transforms Finalborgo, the medieval village of Finale Ligure in the province of Savona, into an authentic fifteenth-century village every summer. The event is the highlight of the Finale summer and attracts a large audience each year.

Four Days of History

For four days, the village is populated by costumed figures, ladies and knights, artisans, and soldiers. The squares and alleys host shows, a rich medieval market, taverns, and scenes of life from a bygone era. The climax is the final battle, fought in the evocative bed of the Aquila stream, which concludes the reenactment with a highly impactful spectacle.
