The contemporary art and culture festival at Parco Le Serre in Grugliasco
Espressioni is the cultural festival that brings the Parco Culturale Le Serre in Grugliasco, in the heart of Turin's western suburbs, to life every spring. Promoted by the Sezione Aurea APS association and its Piccolo Laboratorio delle Arti, the event turns the Chalet exhibition space into a meeting point for art, people, and the local area for one week. It is more than just an exhibition: it is a cultural experience open to everyone, where diverse artistic languages engage in dialogue.
The heart of the festival is a collective contemporary art exhibition featuring artists from Grugliasco, Turin, and the wider Piedmont region. Painting, photography, sculpture, illustration, and visual arts intertwine in a creative journey that captures emotions, visions, and interpretations of contemporary reality. Artistic quality is ensured by the presence of renowned art critic Enzo Nasillo, who guides the public with his Lectio Magistralis dell'Arte.
During the exhibition days, the public can participate in a packed calendar of events that make Espressioni a truly multidisciplinary festival:
Espressioni combines its artistic program with a strong social commitment: one day is dedicated to the Super Eroi Acrobatici (SEA), an association that brings smiles to young patients in Italian hospitals, with fundraising efforts held throughout the event.
The festival highlights one of Grugliasco's most important cultural sites: the Parco Culturale Le Serre, former municipal greenhouses that have become a reference point for associations, culture, and community participation in the Metropolitan City of Turin. Espressioni was born with a clear vision: to connect different artistic languages and create new opportunities for interaction between artists, associations, and citizens.
The 2026 edition of Espressioni, the second of the festival, took place from April 17 to 24 at the Chalet of the Parco Culturale Le Serre in Grugliasco, in the province of Turin. For one week, the exhibition space hosted a collective contemporary art show with artists from Grugliasco, Turin, and the Piedmont region, accompanied by art critic Enzo Nasillo. Alongside the exhibition, a daily calendar of workshops, literary meetings, musical evenings, theater, dance, Occitan culture, and food and wine tastings was offered. The event also had a strong charitable dimension, with a fundraiser dedicated to the Super Eroi Acrobatici (SEA).
