Guided walk through the apple orchards in bloom in Andriano, on the South Tyrol Wine Road
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Erlebnis Apfelblüte is a guided experience dedicated to the apple blossom season that brings Andriano/Andrian to life every spring. This small wine-growing village in South Tyrol is nestled along the South Tyrol Wine Road, just a few kilometers from Bolzano. Between late March and mid-April, the basin around the village transforms into a white and pink sea of fragrant petals: it is the moment when the orchards surrounding the town are at their best, offering one of the most evocative natural spectacles in the province of Bolzano.
The initiative, organized by the Tourismusverein Andrian (the local tourist board), consists of a guided walk through the blooming apple orchards. Accompanied by a local guide, participants stroll between the rows of trees, breathe in the scent of the blossoms, and experience the sweetness of the South Tyrolean spring. The route winds at the foot of Wehrburg Castle, which overlooks the village, and offers an up-close look at the rural life and apple-growing tradition that has characterized this corner of South Tyrol for centuries.
The walk includes a delicious stop: a small snack with seasonal local products allows visitors to appreciate local flavors in a unique natural setting. It is an ideal opportunity for families and nature lovers who wish to discover the agricultural landscape of South Tyrol away from the main tourist crowds, in an authentic and intimate village.
Andriano is one of the smallest villages in South Tyrol and is part of the famous Wine Road, which connects the wine-growing towns between Bolzano and the Bassa Atesina region. Wine and apples coexist here in a gentle, orderly landscape framed by mountains. The flowering season is the prelude to the South Tyrolean spring and culminates, towards the end of April, with the Apfelfest, the village apple festival. Erlebnis Apfelblüte is specifically designed to guide visitors through this delicate and fleeting moment of the year.
The dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced: for the updated calendar, it is best to contact the Tourismusverein Andrian.

Andriano/Andrian is located in the province of Bolzano, along the South Tyrol Wine Road, about 10 km from Bolzano. By car, it can be reached via the A22 motorway (Bolzano Sud exit), then following signs for Terlano and Andriano. By train, the reference station is Bolzano, which is connected to the village by local bus lines.
Participation in the guided walk requires registration with the Tourismusverein Andrian (Wehrburgstraße 1a, 39010 Andriano). Tel. +39 0471 510100, email [email protected].
We recommend comfortable shoes suitable for walking in orchards and layered clothing, typical for spring mornings in South Tyrol.
