Music, theatre, and contemporary circus on the shores of Lake Bracciano
The Entroterre Festival is a major travelling cultural event created by the Entroterre Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Bologna. Every summer, it brings concerts, theatre, dance, and contemporary circus to the most evocative villages and landscapes in Italy. The programme spans three regions—Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Lazio—with dozens of events designed as artistic installations that enhance squares, fortresses, parks, and hidden corners, promoting slow tourism and local discovery.
In the Lazio region, the festival has chosen the shores of Lake Bracciano. The Municipality of Trevignano Romano, a village overlooking the water in the Metropolitan City of Rome, is one of the main stops on the Lazio circuit alongside Bracciano, Anguillara Sabazia, and Canale Monterano. The festival is produced by the Entroterre Foundation in collaboration with the local municipalities, funded by the Ministry of Culture, and supported by ATCL and the Lazio Region.
From July 10th to 12th, 2026, the Via degli Asinelli public park becomes the festival stage. On Friday, July 10th, at 9:00 PM, Max Giusti presents "Bollicine – updatE", a show blending his famous impressions and parodies with live music from the SuperMaxBand, featuring Fabio Di Cocco on piano, Pino Soffredini on guitars, Fabrizio Fasella on bass, and Daniele Natrella on drums. On Saturday, July 11th, also at 9:00 PM, Daniele Silvestri takes the stage with "Canzoni da sdraio", an intimate and surprising concert where the Roman singer-songwriter alternates between piano and guitar, leading a trio with Davide Savarese (drums and percussion) and Marco Santoro (bassoon and trumpet) through arrangements that play with cross-genre influences and expressive freedom. The evening will be opened by the young Calabrian singer-songwriter Alessio Alì.
On Sunday, July 12th, the festival treats the public to the Piazza delle Meraviglie, an afternoon of free admission dedicated to families and street theatre. The CamionTeatro of the Girovago e Rondella company presents "Manoviva" (shows at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM), while Circo Bipolar performs "Cafè Rouge" at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. A format designed to transform the village's public spaces into a small performance village.
Attending a concert in Trevignano Romano also means discovering one of the most fascinating villages in Lazio: the lakeside promenade with its sunsets, the climb to the Rocca Orsini, the narrow streets of the historic centre, and the protected nature of the Bracciano-Martignano Regional Natural Park. The festival invites you to take the time to explore the area, between lake-fish trattorias and scenic trails.
The 2025 edition, the festival's tenth, already brought international names like Goran Bregović to Lake Bracciano and an entire weekend of circus with the Grande Festa di Circo. The 2026 edition confirms the project's vocation: over sixty events from May to September across Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Lazio, using singer-songwriter music, comedy, and circus arts as languages to tell the story of Italy's villages.
The 2026 Lazio stop of the Entroterre Festival transforms the Via degli Asinelli public park, a stone's throw from the Trevignano Romano lakeside, into an arena under the stars for three days. It begins Friday, July 10th, with Max Giusti and "Bollicine – updatE": impressions, parodies, and live music with the SuperMaxBand. Saturday, July 11th, Daniele Silvestri presents "Canzoni da sdraio", a trio reinterpretation of his repertoire featuring piano, guitars, bassoon, and percussion, with an opening by Calabrian singer-songwriter Alessio Alì.
On Sunday, July 12th, the festival shifts towards contemporary circus with the Piazza delle Meraviglie, free of charge: the CamionTeatro of the Girovago e Rondella company performs "Manoviva" at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM, while Circo Bipolar presents "Cafè Rouge" at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The event is organized by the Entroterre Foundation with the municipalities of Lake Bracciano, funded by the Ministry of Culture, and supported by ATCL and the Lazio Region.
Trevignano Romano can be reached by car from Rome in about 50 minutes via the Via Cassia or Via Braccianese (SP4a); the Via degli Asinelli public park is located near the lakeside. By train, the FL3 line from Rome arrives at Bracciano or Anguillara stations, from where Cotral buses depart for Trevignano.
Evening concerts are ticketed and available on the Boxol.it circuit; the Piazza delle Meraviglie shows on Sunday are free of charge.
The shows take place outdoors: we recommend arriving early, bringing a sweater for the evening, and taking advantage of the day to visit the village and the lake.
